While performing on the Vans Warped Tour, the band signed to Red Bull Records, home to platinum selling act Awolnation. The four-piece outfit will be the opening act on Blink-182's Northeast tour, which includes benefit shows at Starland Ballroom and Music Hall of Williamsburg. Guitarist Paul “SNaPz” Laliberte talked to us about their crazy summer, upcoming stint with Blink-182 and new material.

1) What were some highlights from the band's recent Warped Tour stint?

Chicago style deep dish pizza party was dope. Went on stage in neon ski masks with The Used and watched them open there set with some classic Nirvana into Box Full of Sharp Objects. Bert also high fived SiLKY'z Madre. And of course playing amazing shows for amazing pEEpz everyday is a high all in itself.

2) You also signed with Red Bull Records over the summer. What's it like working with that label?

Dope aZ fUQ. We brew with the kReW. They are all supportive of what we do creatively, and love the taste of our brain stew. Shout out to tick dragon the homie in his lair.

3) How did you guys wind up with the coveted spot of opening act for Blink-182's mini Northeast trek?

Positive vibrations and a ying yang birthday cake hand delivered to Tom'z PO box.

4) Proceeds from the band's T-shirt sales at the Starland Ballroom show will go towards Hurricane Sandy relief. How does it feel to know that you're helping out an area that went through a devastating time nearly a year ago?

It's incredible. To give back through our music is a very beautiful process and we are honored to be a part of such a noble cause.

5) You're set to perform on a handful of festivals (Riot Fest, KJEE Summer Round Up) next month. Do you already know what acts you're gonna try to see?

Too many to name probably hahah but we are very excited to see the artists that have inspired us as adolescent musicians. Blink, AFI, Brand New, Rancid, Violent Femmes, Pennywise, Iggy and the Stooges, The Offspring, Descendents, Best Coast.... The list continues for light years.

6) What artists are you listening to right now?

Been really into Chance The Rapper's mixtape Acid Rap, fool iZ ill! Also The Prodigy, Lorde, J Cole, New Kanye, Tei Shi, and Fatboy Slim.

7) The band is currently recording new material. How is that going so far?

It's amazing!  We've been locked up in a cabin studio in Topanga Canyon conjuring spirits with a OUijA board. The CoiNz EP were the first songs we'd ever written as a band so our new tunez are definitely broadening creatively and refining the NeW bEAt FUNd sound. Kidz are gonna trip!
