Review: Gabriel Bruce - "Cars Not Leaving"

Gabriel Bruce Cars Not Leaving

After releasing one of the best tracks of 2012 and a pretty solid rendition of "Silent Night", Gabriel Bruce is back with a stoic new single going by the name "Cars Not Leaving". The Springsteen-leaning composition features what seems to be Bruce confronting love on the rocks ("hold on now/just hold on a minute/this car's not leaving if you're not in it/no idea how lucky we are") with moving organs and some nicely timed sax in the background. It unfolds like a classic rock epic, something few singers can pull off, luckily this UK musician has got the chops.

The single hits retailers March 11th through Luv Luv Luv Records. Stream it below.
