...And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead announce new album, 'Lost Songs'

And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead

When they revealed their fall touring schedule on Monday, we pointed out that the guys had also took to Facebook to hint that a new song was on the way. Yesterday, ...And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead simply posted "Wednesday". Now, Wednesday has come and not only do we get a new song "Up To Infinity", but also the announcement of a new album! The long-running rock band's eighth LP will go by the name Lost Songs. Regarding the record, frontman Conrad Keely stated:

The music was inspired by the apathy to real world events that has plagued the independent music scene now for over a decade. "Up to Infinity" is about the Syrian civil war. We believe that tyranny and despotism suffered by any people, anywhere, is intolerable and should not be treated as an internal matter, but completely justifies intervention by the international community.
