After a year full of covers–Fleetwood Mac, Velvet Underground, "Silent Night"–and touring, The Kills will begin to focus on writing their fifth album next month. In a recent interview with MTV Hive, when asked about new material, guitarist Jamie Hince stated, "It’s hard to know what really are the complete songs until we’re in the studio, but I’ve got four or five songs, and Allison’s probably got the same."
After explaining that the duo have a few more shows coming up this summer, Hince went on to reveal, "Then we’re looking at starting writing properly in September, and the rest of the year will be taken up by that. And hopefully we’ll be in the studio and done by the end of the year."
In the meantime, replay Alison and Jamie's cover of Fleetwood Mac's "Dreams", below.
