Surfer Blood perform new song @ secret Cake Shop show

On Thursday night, after opening up for Death Cab For Cutie at Montclair's Wellmont Theatre, Surfer Blood played a semi-secret show at NYC's Cake Shop, a Lower East Side venue that is currently in danger of closing due to financial issues. During their late night set, the indie rock quartet performed a new song that no one seemed to be able to grab the name of. You can check out a pretty decent fan-shot video of the performance, below.

John Pitts & Co. play Cooperstown tonight and Hoboken on Monday. They recently wrapped up recording their sophomore studio album with producer Gil Norton (Pixies, Foo Fighters). No word yet on when that effort is expected out.

Update: according to Youtube user 'mellamojonas', the song is called "Demon Dancer".
