Watch Nas perform "Daughters" on Letterman

Nas Life Is Good

"Look at this cover... that's me every single night", were Letterman's opening words to his Nas introduction, earlier this evening. He was of course referring to the artwork (as seen above) for the hip-hop legend's Life Is Good album, which hit stores this past week on Def Jam.

After the jokes, Dave then welcomed back the NYC rapper to the program and let the emcee jump into a rendition of his confessional single "Daughters". The performance featured a serious backing band as well as Jones rocking sunglasses indoors. Watch the replay below.
