Ben Folds Five announce new album, 'The Sound Of The Life Of The Mind'

We will be getting a fourth studio album from Ben Folds Five on September 18th. It comes 13 years after the reunited band's 3rd LP The Unauthorized Biography of Reinhold Messner hit shelves. The release will be made possible by the act's very successful Pledge Music campaign, which raised almost three and a half times more than the proposed goal.
The effort will include ten tracks, by the names of: "Erase Me", "Michael Praytor, Five Years Later", "Sky High", "The Sound Of The Life Of The Mind", "On Being Frank", "Draw A Crowd", "Do It Anyway", "Hold That Thought", "Away When You Were Here", and "Thank You For Breaking My Heart".
Our first helping of the record came this past May in the form of a song called "Do It Anyway", which we reposted below. Consider catching the guys live when they make their way to your town this fall/winter.
