Watch Jack White and First Aid Kit perform "We're Going to Be Friends"

Jack White and First Aid Kit performing together live in Paris

First Aid Kit covering "We're Going to Be Friends" with Bright Eyes was cool enough, but I think we can all agree the pair doing the tune with the songwriter himself Jack White is probably the best case scenario. That special live collaboration happened last week while both acts were performing at the Paris venue Olympia. Head to the bottom of the page to see how their joint rendition turned out. Ignore the misspelling of the female folk duo's band name in the video.

Last year, Third Man Records issued the FAK single "Universal Solider". They will tour Europe and Australia this fall and winter. Earlier this year, White let loose his first solo record Blunderbuss. He has a handful of West Coast and Midwest dates set for August, then Austin City Limits in October.
