Modest Mouse announce East Coast tour dates

Modest Mouse live

Isaac Brock & Company have scheduled a handful of tour dates around their NYC and NJ festival appearances. Now, in addition to their sets at Orion Music Festival and the Governors Ball the band will hit Washington, D.C.'s 9:30 Club twice, Pittsburgh's Stage AE and Columbus, Ohio's Lifestyle Communities Pavilion. All of Modest Mouse's upcoming shows can be found below.

Hopefully the veteran indie rock group will use these shows as a chance to debut even more new material from their yet to be officially announced sixth studio album. Last year around this time, Big Boi took to Twitter to reveal that he was in the studio with MM, leading many to assume that he was undertaking the role of producer for the band's follow up to 2007's We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank.

Shortly after that, the Portland outfit debuted a couple new tunes live during their headlining Sasquatch Music Festival set. No updates have been given regarding the new album since then. Brock did however make a special guest appearance on IFC's Portlandia earlier this year.
