Q-Tip signs to Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music

Q-Tip live

A Tribe Called Quest’s Q-Tip (aka Jonathan Davis) has signed with G.O.O.D. Music, Kanye West’s record label. The legendary Queens rapper is currently working on his fourth solo full-length, which is rumored to be titled The Last Zulu. G.O.O.D. Music and Def Jam will put out the album sometime next year.

The Tribesman said of the new deal “I’m excited to solidify my working relationship with Kanye, and I look forward to all the opportunities that lie ahead in our partnership. I will do my best to present the most cutting edge music I can”.

No word yet on whether Q-Tip will join fellow G.O.O.D. artists like Kid Cudi, John legend, Pusha T, and Common with a guest spot on Ye’s forthcoming G.O.O.D. Music: The Album. One can dream.
