Beck, James Murphy, Devendra Banhart, & others cover "I Only Have Eyes for You"

Multimedia artist Doug Aitken has enlisted a mighty impressive list of musicians for an upcoming public art installation. The project, entitled “Song 1”, will take place at the Hirshhorn Museum in Washington, DC every evening from March 22 to May 13. Aitken will use 11 projectors to turn the building into a 360-degree screen displaying a film.
The visuals will be accompanied by the likes of Beck, James Murphy, Devendra Banhart, No Age, and Lucky Dragons. Each artist will perform a rendition of doo-wop standard “I Only Have Eyes for You”, which Aitken will them splice together. Take a look at Aitken's conception redering of the project above.
