Interview: The Story So Far

The Story So Far

The Story So Far have been on a roll since the release of Under Soil and Dirt touring with bands such as Senses Fail, Set Your Goals and The Dangerous Summer. The band are currently on the Glamour Kills tour where they have been stealing the show night after night and are set to perform on all three days of this year's Bamboozle Festival. Guitarist Will Levy took some time out of his busy schedule to discuss being on the GK tour, the group's recent stop in Montclair and their upcoming gig at Bamboozle.

1) You're currently on the Glamour Kills tour. How is that going?

This is coolest tour we have done yet, we're fans of all the bands and everybody gets along well. It's a kickback every day.

2) The band's popularity has skyrocketed since the release of Under Soil and Dirt. Did you expect all of this to happen?

It's hard to expect something like this to happen, we were just hoping to write a cool record for us to have. None of us expected this to happen.

3) The group recently stated they were working on new material. What's the status on that?

We've got a few songs done and have been writing a lot on the road. We're trying to get back into The Panda Studios as soon as possible.

4) T.S.S.F. recently made a stop at Montclair's Chill for a free performance. How did that go?

That was a special night for us. We didn't expect that many people to show up with a day's notice. It was cool to do something fun and free so that anybody who wanted to come, could.

5) The band is set to perform on all three days of The Bamboozle. Will the band try to mix it up each day?

Yeah, we'll do some cool things for The Bamboozle. We're really excited for these shows.

6) What artists are you currently listening to?

I've been listening to a lot of Foo Fighters.

7) Where do you see the band in 5 years?

Playing shows and still writing music together.
