Music video: Nick Lowe - "Sensitive Man"

Nick Lowe The Old Magic

UK New Waver Nick Lowe wants to encourage everybody to share some rollover whispers. Daily Show/Bob’s Burgers/Squidbillies writer Scott Jacobson just directed a new music video for Lowe’s “Sensitive Man”. The track comes from Lowe’s latest full-length, The Old Magic, which is out now from Yep Roc/Proper.

The video stars comedian and host of the WTF podcast (on which Nick Lowe was recently a guest) as a high-strung, snarky fellow with some issues (not much of a stretch from his on-air personality). After a fight with his girlfriend, Maron reluctantly goes to a bizarre self-help group led by Tim Heidecker of Tim and Eric. A series of over-the-top new-age activities then take place to the tune of Nick Lowe’s soft, romantic song. Interspersed with the therapy session are clips of Nick Lowe, Wilco, Robyn Hitchcock, and others looking serene in pastel rooms. Check out the hilarious clip below.
