Death Grips sign to Epic, announce two new albums

Death Grips playing live

What do Fiona Apple, Korn, Shakira, The Fray, and Death Grips have in common? They are all Epic Records signees. Sacramento punk-rappers Death Grips are the Sony-owned label’s latest bizarre enlistment.

Stefan Burnett and friends recently announced that they are working on two new albums for Epic Records. The first album is entitled The Money Store and is due out digitally and on CD on April 24 and on vinyl on April 21 for Record Store Day. The second is entitled No Love and will be released sometime this fall. There’s no word yet about album art or tracklist for either album, but The Money Store will apparently include two previously revealed tracks: “Blackjack” and “Get Got”.

These albums follow Exmilitary, Death Grips’ debut mixtape, which they self-released last April. Check out The Money Store tracks “Blackjack” and “Get Got” below.
