Nick Lowe does Marc Maron's 'WTF' podcast

WTF Marc Maron

UK pub rocker Nick Lowe sat down with comedian Marc Maron for a newly posted episode of his podcast. Maron hosts the fantastic WTF with Marc Maron podcast on which he holds candid interviews with various people of note for bi-weekly, hour-long episodes. Usually it’s comedians that stop by Maron’s “Cat Ranch”, but occasionally he’ll get someone from the music industry; a couple of months ago it was Donald Glover/Childish Gambino and today it’s Nick Lowe. Lowe talks to Maron about his life, career, and fellow artists and performs some songs. The episode comes with the following description from Maron:

"Nick Lowe is arguably at the top of his game and he is 62 years old. He was a pop sweetheart back in the day and has written some great songs but now he is a bonafide Troubadour. I saw him perform with just his guitar, an open heart and nothing to hide as performer and it was spectacular. We talk about his life in music and he dishes a bit about Elvis Costello and Johnny Cash AND he sings a couple of songs. It is a unique episode. Not your regular WTF".

Nick Lowe’s latest album, The Old Magic, came out back in September via Yep Roc/Proper. Listen to the full Nick Lowe episode and plenty others over at the WTFpod site.
