Review: Foals - "My Number"

Foals band

With the exuberance of "Message in a Bottle" and the despondent attitude of "Train In Vain", "My Number" makes for one commercially-viable Foals offering. Aside from the hook being instantly memorable, the track features near-perfect production and intricate guitar work that gracefully avoids coming off as overly indulgent. If you're really into dance-rock numbers you may have a new favorite song on your hands.

Be sure to give the band's also great and very different first single "Inhaler" another spin. Look for both on the English act's third full-length Holy Fire, out February 12th.
