Review: School of Seven Bells - "Secret Days"

School of Seven Bells Put Your Sad Down

Only eight months removed from the release of their third studio album Ghostory, School of Seven Bells hit us with the news of a new EP. The five-cut affair, Put Your Sad Down, will find its way to retailers November 13th through Vagrant Records.

The first track to be released from PYSD, "Secret Days", channels a good amount of Nine Inch Nails nostalgia. The airy bass-heavy oh-woah-oh-filled number sees Alejandra Deheza taking us back to yesteryear, which what we gather was a much better place. Whether or not we can decipher what exactly the NYC frontwoman is talking about when she refers to these secret days, we at least have a bouncy electropop beat to dance to.
