Review: T.I. - "Sorry" (ft. André 3000)

TI Andre 3000 Sorry

On December 18th, T.I. officially returns with the release of his eighth studio album Trouble Man: Heavy is the Head. The LP will feature the much looked forward to track "Sorry", which includes a guest verse from hip-hop juggernaut André 3000. Yesterday, Atlantic Records premiered the midtempo banger that is now streaming below.

Once again, "Sorry" finds Harris addressing his haters, except without all of the animosity usually found on similar tracks. The Atlanta MC also delves into issues ranging from absentee fathers, prison and mindless crime. When André jumps on at the end it's all repenting (This that shit that make you call your mom and say hey, sorry for begging for all them clothes you couldn't afford/and this the type of shit that make you call your rap partner and say I'm sorry I'm awkward/my fault for fucking up the tours) until the dope wears off. Basically, all the not so obvious ingredients of a solid rap staple.
