Review: Pre War - "On The Decline"

Pre War On The Decline

Pre War's "On The Decline" probably won't be occupying party playlists or soundtracking car rides with friends. Not that a song needs to fit into some verse-chorus mold in order to do so, but the Brooklyn outfit's latest single is far from following any sonic narrative. After a dozen or so listens, I still can't anticipate what's about to happen next. Yeah, it is a good thing. Well, refreshing at the very least.

Either way, I can tell you the track starts out intriguing and ends in some epic mess of punk/garage rock noise, an approach I'm beginning to think should be used more often. Get acquainted below.
