Neil Young & Crazy Horse working on at least one new album

Neil Young

Legendary folk singer Neil Young revealed this weekend that he is working on at least one new record with long-time collaborators Crazy Horse. The Canadian singer/songwriter has been recording and performing on and off with the LA folk rock band since the late 60s. Neil Young and Crazy Horse last hit the studio in 2003 for the rock opera Greendale.

Apparently this weekend Neil Young revealed at the Slamdance Film Festival that they have already begun recording a new album. Rumor has it that Young alluded to another Crazy Horse album that’s already completed. As Rolling Stone points out, Young and Crazy Horse recorded an album called Toast in 2000 that was never released. Young told Rolling Stone a few years ago that the shelved record was “really dark … It won’t be the most commercial Crazy Horse album ever out”. Only time will tell.
