Modest Mouse covered Buddy Holly's "That'll Be the Day" (stream)

Modest Mouse recently took on Buddy Holly's "That'll Be the Day" for an upcoming tribute album. There cover of the Holly tune has surfaced, as it was played on KCRW this past weekend. You can stream the cover via the Soundcloud player below. The tribute LP, Rave On Buddy Holly is set to drop June 28th via Fantasy Records/Concord Music Group.

The compilation will also include: Paul McCartney, Fiona Apple, My Morning Jacket, Modest Mouse, Julian Casablancas and more. Modest Mouse are currently at work with producer Big Boi on their sixth studio-album. The Washington group only have a handful of announced tour dates. All of those can be found below.
