Three Days Grace live

People from all over rushed to the Starland Ballroom on Thursday, April 14th, to see Three Days Grace and My Darkest Days perform at the last stop of their 2011 U.S. tour. The sold out show had the longest line I've ever seen at the venue, stretching all the way around the building and then bordering the parking lot.

My Darkest Days brought an enormous amount of energy to the stage. Right from the get-go, the band ran on stage led on by a guy riding a mini-bike. Between shooting silly-string and diapers into the crowd, you could tell that the band was having a blast on stage (and the fans were loving it!) The band put on a 7-song set-list, ending with their more popular song, 'Porn Star Dancing'. Overall, the five-man Canadian put on a very entertaining set and the fans were really seeming to enjoy it.

Next up was the nights headliner, Three Days Grace. They began their set with 'Burn'. From then on, the night unraveled itself. The crowd wasn't the wildest I've seen for a sold out show, but nonetheless it was a great night. Three Days Grace played a 19 song set (listed below) which consisted of a few cover songs as well. Fans got especially excited as the band played some of their more well known songs, such as 'I Hate Everything About You', 'World So Cold', 'Never Too Late', 'Riot', and 'Animal I Have Become'. During 'Never Too Late', My Darkest Days joined the stage with Three Days Grace, banging pots, throwing things into the crowd, and holding up signs saying "You're not too gay", "You're never too gay".

Three Days Grace ended their set with 'Riot', but was then summoned by the crowd to put on a encore, where they then played three more songs. The night was filled with lots of fun and energy; it seemed like a great way to end their tour.
