Hear Two New Songs By The National, "Rylan" and "I Need My Girl"

The National band

When Brooklyn by-way-of Cincinnati band, The National, stopped by Toronto radio program, Q LIVE, today they treated listeners to two rad new tracks. Recorded at Toronto's Glenn Gould Studio, the group premiered tracks entitled "Rylan" and "I Need My Girl". The former track is a sullen mid-tempo jam that sounds like it would fit well on Boxer. The later is heavy on the sunny acoustic guitar, contrasted by a gloomy refrain in which lead singer Matt Berninger sings, "I keep feeling smaller and smaller." Check out both tracks right here.

The National are currently on tour supporting last year's High Violet. Ticket are still available for their seven day run at New York's Beacon Theater. More info here.
