Cat Power putting out a new song & video on Christmas Eve

Last night indie darling Cat Power took to Twitter to announce plans to release a new song and video. The song and video will be available starting December 24, and can be downloaded with a donation to one of several charities.

Chan Marshall also stated that she is almost done with her upcoming album from Matador. Matador noted that the Christmas Eve releases may or may not have anything to do with the upcoming album.
