While performing on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge today, Florence and the Machine broke character for a little while to cover Drake’s “Take Care". Florence Welch was once slated to collaborate on Drake’s smash-hit Take Care, but that never panned out. With this clip, however, Welch shows the world just how awesome it would have been. As weird as it is to hear Welch sing about the club or getting high, she and her orchestral back up do an incredible job with the song.

In the last month, of course, Florence and the Machine and Drake released two of the biggest albums of the year with Ceremonials and Take Care from Island Records and Young Money respectively. Check out the video of Florence and the Machine’s cover below and listen to the original below that.
