Laura Marling announces string of December tour dates

English indie-folkster Laura Marling has announced eight solo shows around the Northeast, Midwest, and Canada. Formerly a member of Noah and the Whale and a frequent collaborator of Mumford & Sons (while romantically linked to Marcus Mumford), Marling is now focusing on her solo music. Her third album, A Creature I Don’t Know, came out back in September via Virgin Records.

Marling takes to the road on December 1st in Minneapolis at the Cedar Cultural Center. From there she hits Rock Island and Chicago, IL, Toronto, Philly and New York. To finishing off her American dates, Marling will play back-to-back sets at the Grindcore House in Philly on the 9th and at the McKittrick Hotel in New York on the 11th.
