Humble Beginnings and Lanemeyer announce reunion show

Humble Beginnings band

Excess Db has announced that Humble Beginnings and Lanemeyer will be performing at Maxwell's on Friday November 19th. Tickets will go on sale this Friday. Humble Beginnings formed in 1996 and featured Gabe Saporta who went on to form Midtown and Cobra Starship.

The group disband in 2001 shortly after their last release We Wear Vans. Lanemeyer formed in 1997 and toured with bands such as The Lawrence Arms and Bigwig before disbanding in 2001. The band has reunited on occasion to play single shows.

Update: You can now read our interview with guitarist Jeremy Hernandez (also a member of Bigwig). We hit on the band's history, the upcoming shows and what the guys have been up to. You can also find pictures of their Court Tavern gig in our photo gallery.

I'd much rather prefer a Midtown reunion but what the hell, I'll be at this wasted even though I don't know any of their songs.
