Denver's husband-and-wife duo, Tennis played a last minute New Brunswick basement show yesterday Tuesday, August 24th. The Underwater Peoples group recently sold-out of their 7", which features tracks "Baltimore", "Cape Dory" and "Marathon". After their current tour they are going to begin work on a debut LP. No word yet on when it's expected to be released.

The group is set to play two NYC shows over the next two days, both with Family Portrait, who also played last nights show. Tonight they are set to play Lower East Side's Cake Shop with Ducktails. On Thursday they'll be playing Brooklyn's Glasslands with Magic Bullets. A couple videos from yesterday's show can be found below. Burnt Snake Trio and Ryan A(?) opened.

Is it just me or does Tennis sound ridiculously like 60's era Nancy Sinatra?
