Silversun Pickups, Against Me! & The Henry Clay People are currently out on a full US tour together, which kicked off June 6th in San Francisco and wraps up August 6th in Los Angeles. The tour stopped by Montclair's Wellmont Theatre this past Thursday. Silversun is out supporting their 2009 release Swoon, which has been a break-thru album for the group. Three of the records singles have charted on US radio, including their song "Panic Switch", which reached #1 on the US Alt category. The Los Angeles group's song selection featured slightly more material from Swoon than from their 2007 debut Carnavas. You can find their Wellmont set list below.

Against Me! just released their 5th studio album White Crosses earlier this month, which features their single "I Was a Teenage Anarchist". The Gainesville, FL band have been on the road almost non-stop for the past few years. The punk rock group played a headlining Stone Pony date this past April. Their Wellmont setlist featured mostly material from their last two records, but also included older songs like "Pints of Guinness Make You Stronger" and "Sink, Florida, Sink". You can pick up the Butch Vig produced White Crosses at iTunes.

The tour openers The Henry Clay People are out in support of their newly released Somewhere on the Golden Coast. The record dropped June 8th to be exact via TBD Records. The Los Angeles group has been garnering tons of well deserved critical acclaim. THCP set could have possibly been the best sounding of the night. Their driving guitars and sing along choruses fit the Wellmont's acoustic perfectly. You can download their new single "Your Famous Friends" below. Be sure to pick up Somewhere on the Golden Coast at Amazon.

Probably my favorite show of the year so far. Love both Silversun & Against Me's setlist. Sound was amazing as usual.
