My Chemical Romance debuts at number 8 on Billboard Top 200

My Chemical Romance

New Jersey rockers My Chemical Romance's newest album Danger Days: The True Lives of The Fabulous Killjoys debuted at number 8 on the Billboard Top 200 selling 112,000 copies. Danger Days is the follow up to 2006's platinum selling album The Black Parade. The band will be playing with The Gaslight Anthem tonight at Roseland Ballroom. Unfortunately, that show has been sold out for weeks.

The band will be performing at Starland Ballroom on Saturday May 7th (sold out) and Sunday May 8th (buy tickets now). MCR have also added another show at Terminal 5 on Saturday April 23. They may also be apart of 2011's Bamboozle lineup. Check out a recent video interview the group did with 101.9 RXP below.

Update: video no longer available.
