Tennis sign to Fat Possum. Underwater Peoples announce CMJ showcase.

NJ's Underwater Peoples' band, Tennis have made a move from the upcoming indie label to the ever so popular Fat Possum. The Mississippi label is home to Dinosaur Jr., Band of Horses, Wavves and many other established acts. The husband and wife duo's Underwater Peoples' 7" is sold out, but you can stream the two songs off it at the groups bandcamp page. The Denver act is set to play a huge show opening for now label mates The Walkmen at NYC's Terminal 5 on December 2nd. All of their upcoming tour dates can be found at their blog.
In Underwater Peoples news, the vinyl buffs have partnered with Australian label, Chapter Music to put on a CMJ showcase that will take place Thursday, October 21st at Brooklyn's Glasslands. The bill will feature Andrew Cedermark, who recently released an LP via Underwater Peeps. The two labels have put together a sampler made up of music from all the bands playing the showcase.
