Ace Enders @ School of Rock 7.30.09

Ace Enders & A Million Different People

Ace Enders live in NJ

The Ace Enders band at School of Rock

Ace Enders has been on the BBQ Across America Tour since June 19th, to which he mentioned during the show how happy they were to be back in New Jersey and how "Serg kissed the ground when they got back." The nearly sold out crowd sang along to both Ace's new material and of course his throw back songs.

The set list was mostly made up of material off his latest record, When I Hit The Ground, but he did pull out "The Best Happiness Money Can Buy" and for the last song of he played the now classic "Ever So Sweet". Overall Ace Enders & A Million Different People delivered a fully entertaining set, especially entertaining when "Dancing Queen" broke out.

Personal L

Personal L featuring Kenny

Kenny of the Starting Line performing as Personal L

Having heard a good amount of music from Person L prior to their set last night at School of Rock, I was pleasantly surprised to see so much energy in their set. Listed as "Melodramatic" on their myspace, anyone would disagree if they were to catch them live first. PL came across as a full fledge rock band that had quality songs to back it up. With an amazing live show and a great crowd reception it seems as if Kenny is having no trouble shedding his old skin of being a lead singer of a pop-punk band. If you haven't already I suggest you check out the song "Storms" now.
