Pete Yorn @ Webster Hall 7.28.09

Pete York playing at Webster Hall

Pete Yorn in New York City

Pete Yorn played his first of two dates at Webster Hall last night, July 28th.  Matt Pinfield & Leslie Fram introduced the act while announcing that Pete would be a guest on their show the next morning.  Pete played a 19 song set that borrowed songs from all of his records. The sound was great, the song selection was as good as you could ask for and even the lighting added to the show. Pete does it again tonight (7/29), tickets are still available at Ticketmaster.

Also, Pete Yorn just released his new record, Back & Fourth, which you can pick up at Amazon. He release's a collaboration album with Scarlett Johansson September 8th entitled, Break Up.  The single off that record is already available for digital download. You can preview "Relator" below.

Pinfield just pops up everywhere doesn't he? Don't mind though, one of the few dj's that really help out independent artists. Wish I caught the interview this morning. Maybe they'll archive it.
